Bandai Namco’s Scarlet Nexus headlines the lineup of new Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S releases.

The Xbox release schedule springs into life again following a week where most publishers were happy to let E3 2021 take the spotlight.

Bandai Namco action-RPG Scarlet Nexus is the standout release and comes to Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S following a positive preview period. Set in the far future, players must save the world from a collective of brain-eating mutants known as Others. Fans can look forward to an accompanying anime, the first two episodes of which will be released for free on YouTube on June 25.

Other new Xbox releases include Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX, a remake of the fondly remembered Sega Master System platformer, and the official video game of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.

If the games listed below don’t appeal, there are a few days left to check out the Xbox Summer Games Fest, which includes demos of more than 40 upcoming indie games.

We’ll update the Xbox releases list throughout the week with any late additions.
