The new update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons is out now
Carnival comes to Animal Crossing: New Horizons in the game’s latest free update.

Carnival season comes to Animal Crossing: New Horizons in the game’s latest update.
A new free content update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons on Nintendo Switch is now available. It adds a new carnival-themed event to the game, plus new reactions and seasonal items.
The centrepiece is the Festivale event which brings dancing, confetti, and feathers to island plazas on February 15. Dancer Pavé will be in town to reward players for finding colourful feathers with some spectacular dance routines. Based on the trailer footage, Pavé has been taking lessons from my ballroom-loving grandma.
Also included in the update are new Feelin’ It, Let’s Go, Viva, and Confetti reactions. They can be purchased at Nook’s Cranny using your hard-earned Bells.
Those of a romantic disposition can look forward to picking up chocolate hearts and heart-shaped bouquet items to give to their sweethearts. And Groundhog Day and Big Game Celebration items will also be available before the end of February.
Nintendo says the next content update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons is planned for release in March 2021.
