Here’s the hardware you’re going to need to run Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. The list, thankfully, doesn’t include an Animus machine.
The reviews are drifting in for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, and initial reports are positive. After taking a year off between Syndicate and Origins – to the immense the benefit of the series – we had concerns that Ubisoft was slipping back into its old ways. There was always the danger that Odyssey would just be a cut-and-shut job, with new content shoehorned into Origins’ framework.
There are, however, some pleasing new additions to the series in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. First up is the gender selection; something the series has been missing since day one. Second is the expansion of its role-playing credentials; Bethesda/BioWare style branching dialogue is a great fit for Assassin’s Creed. And third is the exploration mode; that removes the glut of map markers and instead gives players hints and nudges to find objectives.
This all sounds great, but if you’re wanting to play on PC, what are the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey system requirements?
