The Curse of the Pharaohs, the second story expansion for Assassin’s Creed Origins, is out today on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

The Curse of the Pharaohs, the second story expansion for Assassin’s Creed Origins, is out today on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
Set four years after the events of Assassin’s Creed Origins, Bayek’s adventures continue as he travels to the ancient city of Thebes on the trail of a mysterious curse in the new DLC, The Curse of the Pharaohs.
The expansion delves deep into Egyptian mythology, and features battles against famous pharaohs, and mystical beasts. The tombs of the Valley of the Kings, and the temples of Karnak and Luxor, are among the scenic delights to enjoy along the way.
Fans of arbitrary numbers will be pleased to know that the DLC also increases the game’s level cap to 55, and adds new crafting levels, resources, and abilities. And no paid expansion would be complete without a selection of themed outfits and gear to earn.
The Curse of the Pharaohs is available to buy separately, and included as part of the Assassin’s Creed Origins Season Pass along with the previously released expansion, The Hidden Ones.

Thumbsticks has a couple of main aims. We want to write interesting articles and cover games that most outlets won't, and we want to give opportunities to new writers and new voices. But it's difficult to make ends meet in online publishing at the moment, so if you'd like to help us continue our work, you could always buy the team a cup of coffee.
