Ubisoft launches the official Assassin’s Creed Origins Photo Mode contest.

The in-game photo mode in Assassin’s Creed Origins is one of the finest we’ve seen yet, with some of the efforts shared on social media truly magical, and a testament no only to the photographer, but the efforts of Ubisoft Montreal’s art team.

According to Ubisoft, over 20 million pictures have so far been taken, and the publisher is now launching an official competition for all budding photographers of ancient Egyptian life.

Each week Ubisoft will announce a new theme for entries – the first is Wild Life – and the contest will run from today through to January 10, 2018.

Entrants can submit their efforts via the EasyPromos App portal, and every week the dev team will one choose one Grand Prize winner and four Runner-Up winners.

Every winner will receive a season pass code, or if they already have one, an official Assassin’s Creed shirt. In addition, Grand Prize winners will also have their work displayed at the Ubisoft Montreal office, and they will receive a print of their work from online art dealer, Cook & Becker.

Head over to the official Assassins’s Creed Photo Mode website for more information, and a little inspiration.
