Limited Run Games will be releasing physical editions of Axiom Verge 2 and Axiom Verge 1+2 later this year.
The surprise release of Axiom Verge 2 – as revealed on yesterday’s Nintendo Switch Indie World Showcase – was the best news we’ve had all week. The first game is a firm favourite in the Thumbsticks den, and we are already enjoying the sequel’s intricate world and revamped combat mechanics.
The game is available now digitally on Switch, PC and PlayStation. However, if you prefer to own games on a cart or disc, you’ll be pleased to hear that Limited Run will open pre-orders for two physical editions on October 1, 2021.
The first release includes both games in the series, and the second features Axiom Verge 2. Both editions will be available on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.

Limited Run promise more details soon, and we wouldn’t be too surprised to see some swanky collector’s editions added to the lineup.
