The updated version of Westwood Studios’ classic Blade Runner game is available now on all platforms.

Blade Runner: Enhanced Edition is a remaster of the classic 1997 adventure game from Westwood Studios. The game arrives on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch today, coinciding with the 40th anniversary of Ridley Scott’s iconic film.

The game tells a story parallel to the 1982 movie and is just as impressive. Its branching narrative was ahead of its time, the visuals are exquisite, and the score – by Frank Klepacki – is a pitch-perfect complement to the work of Vangelis.

The enhanced edition – from Nightdive Studios – updates the visuals to 4K and 60 FPS, adds keyboard and gamepad support and introduces a new KIA clue interface.

Speaking about the game, Nightdive CEO Stephen Kick says:

‘Blade Runner: Enhanced Edition has been a labor of love for the Nightdive team, and one of our most requested and revered titles yet. We’re excited to finally share our game with fans; we expect that they’ll be very pleased.”
