Blaster Master Zero 3 will be released on PlayStation 4, PC, and Nintendo Switch in July 2021.

Inti Creates has announced that NES-inspired action threequel Blaster Master Zero 3 will come to console and PC on July 29, 2021.

In a press statement, the publisher says:

“The Blaster Master Zero series answered the call of Metroidvania fans everywhere with the release of Blaster Master Zero 1 and 2, and now the final chapter is here! In Blaster Master Zero 3, the phenomenal NES style pixel art makes its return alongside cutting edge action and gameplay! Hop abroad the all-terrain battle tank G-SOPHIA SV and blast your way through legions of mutants and as you journey into uncharted territory full of new experiences!”

The first two games in the rebooted series are somewhat under-appreciated and well worth playing if you missed them. We’re pleased to see that a third and final instalment looks just as impressive in its reveal trailer.

The game will be priced at USD14.99 and available from the Nintendo eShop, PlayStation Store, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.

We have a favour to ask

Thumbsticks has a couple of main aims. We want to write interesting articles and cover games that most outlets won't, and we want to give opportunities to new writers and new voices. And right now, with the current state of online publishing? It's tough! We hate to ask, but if you want us to continue writing what others won't, or to keep covering weird indie games, or to be able to give opportunities to new writers – and only if you can afford it – then please consider supporting us on Patreon.
