Paradox Interactive has confirmed that the Cities: Skylines Content Creator Pack will be released for the Xbox One and Playstation 4 next week.
The new DLC – which is comprised of new creations from the Cities: Skylines modding community – is priced at $9.99, and will be released on March 12, 2018. The add-on is also included as part of the game’s season pass.
The Cities: Skylines Content Creator Pack gives budding mayors a whole new set of neighbourhood styles, structures and service buildings to play with, all of which have been created by some of the leading lights of the game’s mod community.
The pack includes a new selection of Art Deco-style structures from Matt “Shroomblaze” Crux that features six reusable residential buildings, six commercial buildings, and three unique buildings. There are also 15 technology-flavoured creations from Mauro “GCVos” Vos composed of 10 unique buildings, and five advanced city service options.
Cities: Skylines has also received a free ‘Match Day’ update which is available now on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The update allows mayors to add new sports stadiums to their towns, and generate revenue when events are held. But watch out, they will also generate plenty of traffic to manage.
