Yakuza 3 Remastered, Yakuza 4 Remastered, and Yakuza 5 Remastered are currently free to play for Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members.
A quick look at the ever-so-useful howlongtobeat.com indicates that players can spend well over 100 hours playing through Sega’s acclaimed Yakuza remasters. That makes this week’s Xbox Play Days promotion a demanding and unlikely time commitment.
If you dropped off the series midway, it offers a welcome opportunity to resume the adventures of Tojo Clan member Kazuma Kiryu. However, if you are new to the Yakuza franchise, we recommend starting with Yakuza 0 or Yakuza Kiwami, both of which are regularly discounted on the Xbox digital games store.
All three remasters are free to play for subscribers until midnight on Sunday, January 23, 2022.
It’s also worth noting that these games are already included with a standard Xbox Game Pass subscription. That means this week’s promo is really only of use to Xbox Live Gold members and for the discounts detailed below.
