Bandai Namco has announced that two new DLC characters are on their way to Dragon Ball FighterZ on March 28th.
There is more to the DLC update than just the new fighters as well: a Commentators Voice Pack will be added.
The two characters on the way are Broly and Bardock. They are both included in the FighterZ Pass, which will introduce eight new characters to the roster over time.
You can purchase them individually as well. Check out the trailer below for an introduction to Broly:
There is also a free update for Dragon Ball FighterZ scheduled for spring this year. It will add Z-union competitions, which will spice up the Z-union feature – a kind of fan club feature.
Z-union’s allow players to gather together and show off their love for a particular character – similar to the way that Guilds work in Mortal Kombat X.
Bandai Namco hasn’t specified exactly what form this competition will take. Perhaps, given the nature of the fighting genre, there will be a tournament involved.

Thumbsticks has a couple of main aims. We want to write interesting articles and cover games that most outlets won't, and we want to give opportunities to new writers and new voices. But it's difficult to make ends meet in online publishing at the moment, so if you'd like to help us continue our work, you could always buy the team a cup of coffee.
