Square Enix has confirmed that a Dragon Quest 35th anniversary stream will be broadcast this month.

Square Enix has confirmed that a Dragon Quest 35th anniversary stream will be broadcast later this month.

The live stream will be presented on May 26 to mark the 35th anniversary of Dragon Quest. It promises to update fans on the progress of any games currently in development and highlight other events being held to celebrate the RPG franchise’s birthday.

The stream will also include a live English interpretation for the first time.

Thursday, 27 May, 2021

  • JST – 12:30 pm
  • CEST – 5:30 am
  • BST – 4:40 am

Wednesday, 26 May, 2021

  • EDT – 11:30 pm
  • PDT – 8:30 pm

As for what will be revealed? Who knows, but maybe we’ll see the rumoured Dragon Quest: Adventure of Day, a new entry in the Builders series, and some HD remakes of older titles. At least one new game is promised by Square Enix.
