FIFA 22 and Naraka: Bladepoint complete June’s impressive Xbox Game Pass lineup.

Viewers of the recent Xbox & Bethesda Showcase will know just how key Game Pass is to the Xbox business. It was an impressive showing that bodes well for the subscribers in the year ahead.

There’s also a lot to enjoy in the here and now, with a steady flow of games joining the service each month.

The acclaimed Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge was added to Xbox Game Pass last week, along with Omori, a charming indie RPG developed by Omocat.  Shadowrun Trilogy – which features three excellent tactical RPGs – also joined the lineup yesterday.

Today, it’s the turn of FIFA 22 and Naraka: Bladepoint. The first title needs no introduction. As usual, there’s plenty to gripe about, but in the face of no meaningful competition – sorry, eFootball – EA’s franchise remains the only viable choice for fans of the sport.

Naraka: Bladepoint is a popular action-adventure battle royale that’s a good get for Microsoft. For the moment, it’s an Xbox console exclusive and comes highly recommended if you enjoy martial arts-inspired melee action.

Next month also gets off to a decent start with Ubisoft’s Far Cry 5 joining Xbox Game Pass on July 1.

It’s not all good news, however. Four games will leave Game Pass on June 30, meaning it’s your last chance to sample FIFA 20, Jurassic World Evolution, Last Stop, and MotoGP 20.
