Bandai Namco has announced that Noctis, the hero of Final Fantasy XV will be making his way over to Tekken 7.

The DLC featuring the road-tripping hero is due out in Spring 2018 for Tekken 7, and you can see him in the official gameplay reveal trailer below:

The official blurb for the character reveal emphasises his Engine Blade, as he wields in Final Fantasy XV:

“Noctis Lucis Caelum from Final Fantasy XV enters the Tekken 7 ring! Wielding his signature Engine Blade, Noctis is ready to deal heavy hard-hitting blows as he takes on the likes of Yoshimitsu, Devil Jin, Jack 7, and the rest of the Tekken 7 fighters when he enters the King of Iron Fist Tournament in spring 2018!”

He looks like a fast flurrying character, all teleport dashes and blistering blows – someone akin to Hwoarang or Brian Fury

This is now the third piece of DLC introduced to the game, following Tekken Bowl – a new game mode – and Geese Howard, a character from the Fatal Fury games. Aside from Akuma, there has yet to be any more Street Fighter characters introduced into the game.
