Nintendo has released a free demo of Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes ahead of the game’s release later this month.
It’s fair to say that Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes isn’t the next entry in Nintendo’s tactical RPG series that we were hoping for. That being said, the game looks promising and full to the brim with fan service.
As the name suggests, the Omega Force-developed hack-and-slash action RPG returns to the region of Fódlan. Players will meet a cast of fan favourite characters from Fire Emblem Three Houses, including Edelgard, Dimitri, and Claude, among many others.
Players of Hyrule Warriors or the first Fire Emblem Warriors will know what to expect. The fan service goes a long way, but your enjoyment will largely rest on how you feel about the classic Musou formula.
The free demo features the first three chapters of the game and showcases the two-player local co-op mode.
It won’t be time wasted, either. All progress carries over to the full game.
Prepare for battle with the new Awakened Rivals trailer.
Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes launches for Nintendo Switch on June 24, 2022.
