Five new sales are now live on the Xbox One Digital Game Store, and each promotion has at least one standout title. Here are our recommendations.
This week’s Xbox Deals with Gold include solid hits like L.A. Noire, Chasm, and Yooka-Laylee And The Impossible Lair. Our highlight is Respawn’s TitanFall 2. It’s one of the generation’s forgotten gems and worth playing for its ingenious level design and satisfying combat.
This year’s Shockober sale is shockful of super spooky games. Alien: Isolation, The Mummy Demastered, and Little Nightmares are all excellent, but our favourite is Phobia Game Studio’s deliciously violent reverse horror game, Carrion.
A new sale also marks the return of The Mandalorian to Disney+. Star Wars Pinball is good fun, but a 25% discount on the recently released Star Wars Squadrons is hard to pass up.
Weirdly, the Watch Dogs Legion Hack Sale doesn’t include any titles from that particular franchise, but it does feature games from its Assassin’s Creed and Far Cry cousins. Our pick, however, is the sublime snow sports extravaganza, Steep. Finally, Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition is our choice from this week’s Spotlight selection.
