Sports Interactive reveal release details for Football Manager 2020 on PC, mobile, Switch, and Google Stadia.
Sega and Sports Interactive have announced that the real football season will start in early November with the release of Football Manager 2020. The exact date is yet to be confirmed, but the game will once again be released in a variety of flavours on a range of platforms.
Football Manager 2020 will be released for PC, Mac, and Stadia. The mobile variant will be released for iOS and Android, and the more accessible Touch version will be available on PC, Mac, iOS, and Android. The Nintendo Switch edition will follow in late November.
Of the Google Stadia release, Sports Interactive’s Miles Jacobson says these things:
“Football Manager on Stadia includes technology that is only available on that platform, utilising the power of the cloud and Google’s data centres to ensure that more matches can be processed in parallel utilising spare bandwidth across the whole system – this means you can have more leagues loaded into your save, or just go for a faster experience by keeping the amount of leagues the same, but having the matches process quicker than you can on any other platform.”
Details of other new features coming to this year’s game will be revealed next month. In the meantime, here’s a look at its physical box art. Something we expect very few players will ever see.
A 10% discount is available on PC and Mac pre-orders from Sega-approved digital retailers. Players who pre-order will also get access to the Football Manager 2020 beta, which begins two weeks prior to release.
