Gris, the marvellous narrative platformer from Nomada Studio, is coming to iPhone and iPad this month.
Publisher Devolver Digital has opened App Store pre-orders for Gris ahead of its iOS release later this month. Developed by Nomada Studio, the game originally debuted on PC, Mac, and Nintendo Switch in late 2018.
Gris follows the story of a young girl as she embarks on a journey through a strange but beautiful world. The game won plaudits for its stunning visuals and animation – including art from Conrad Rose – and its affecting narrative. It also features an elegiac score from composer and sound designer, Berlinist.
In our review of Gris on Nintendo Switch, Tom said the game was “an absorbing experience delivered with remarkable style and clarity.” It went on to make our list of the 18 most important video games of 2018.
Gris will be released on the Apple App Store on August 22, 2019. It’s priced at $4.99 in the US, £4.99 in the UK, and €5.49 in the EU.
