Just Cause 4 and Wheels of Aurelia are this week’s Epic free games.
There once was a time when Avalanche Studios had three announced games I was eager to play. Then Just Cause 4 came out and it got middling reviews. And then Generation Zero came out and I really didn’t like it. And then Rage 2 came out and it was meh.
Of those three games, though, Just Cause 4 is the only one I didn’t put any time into. Now that it’s free on the Epic Games Store, I’ll probably at least play it long enough to see the Getting Over It Easter egg.
This week’s other freebie is Wheels of Aurelia. It’s a gorgeous visual novel that got mediocre-to-bad reviews at launch back in 2016. But, I repeat, it’s free. So check it out if you’re at all interested.
And do it before Thursday! That’s when Epic will begin offering For the King, a well-received turn-based strategy RPG, free for Game Store users.
