Devolver Digital has confirmed a March release date for Loop Hero. Devolver Digital has confirmed a March release date for Loop Hero.

Loop Hero, the upcoming time-loop roguelike from developer FourQuarters and publisher Devolver Digital, will be released on March 4. The game is coming to PC via Steam and is available to pre-order now.

Loop Hero is a roguelike with a unique approach: You don’t control the hero’s movements. Instead, with an expanding deck of mystical cards at your disposal, you must position buildings, enemies, and terrain into a physical loop that the hero negotiates automatically.

In our preview of the game, Andrew King said “It’s a tense balance of risk and reward and, so far, the game walks the tightrope brilliantly. I’ve never played anything quite like it.”

If that sounds like your jam, a playable demo is available to download now from Steam. And make sure you watch the brand new trailer to see this cool concept in action.

The official Loop Hero website is also worth a visit, or two, or three, or four…
