Creation of Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers

Square Enix peeks behind the game development curtain with the first episode of The Creation of Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers.

The new six-part developer diary digs deep into the creation and development of the acclaimed MMO Final Fantasy XIV, with a focus on last year’s Shadowbringers expansion. The first episode, Telling a Tale, features interviews with producer and director Naoki Yoshida, and scenario writers Banri Oda and Natsuko Ishikawa.

Subsequent episodes focus on a different element of Shadowbringers and will include contributions from across the development team. Square Enix plans to release new episodes every Thursday.

The Creation of Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers schedule

  • Episode One – February 27
  • Episode Two – March 5
  • Episode Three – March 12
  • Episode Four – March 19
  • Episode Five – March 26
  • Episode Six – April 2
