Nintendo has announced that Minecraft Dungeons is the next Nintendo Switch Online free Game Trial.
The latest Game Trial freebie for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers is now confirmed, and it’s the well-received dungeon crawler Minecraft Dungeons.
The game will be free to download and play in its entirety for Nintendo Switch Online members in North America and Europe between August 18-24, 2021. Any progress made can be transferred over to purchased copies of the game once the free play period ends.

Minecraft Dungeons was released in May 2020 to a reasonably positive critical response. It’s an enjoyable action RPG that takes place across a mix of procedurally generated and hand-designed locations. It’s not particularly groundbreaking, but it’s good fun in local multiplayer, making it a Switch game worth trying.
