Dark Light

The games keep coming to Xbox Game Pass. Here’s a quick review of the titles arriving soon on Microsoft’s subscription service.

The fun begins this week with a trio of classic Lucasarts adventures. Each game has been thoughtfully remastered by Double Fine Productions, and although the puzzle design sometimes betrays its 90s roots, they hold up well.

A couple of genuine indie gems come to Xbox Game Pass next week. The acclaimed platformer Celeste is a modern classic with a subtle but compelling narrative, sublime controls, and top-notch production values.

Another visual delight is Foam Sword’s exquisite tale of childhood adventure, Knights and Bikes. We have a hunch the game wasn’t the hit many expected when it launched a year ago. Hopefully, its move to Game Pass will bring it to a wider audience.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and ScourgeBringer are among the games available to stream via Android devices. Here’s the full lineup of new additions.
