MXGP 3: The Official Motocross Video game has been confirmed for release on the Nintendo Switch next month.

Milestone have announced that MXGP 3: The Official Motocross Video game will be released on Nintendo Switch on November 17 in the US, and November 21 in the UK. The game was previously released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC in May, 2017.

MXGP 3 features all of the riders, bikes, and tracks of the official 2016 Motocross season. The season covers 18 races located in the USA, Europe, Qatar, Thailand, Mexico and Argentina, closing with the famous Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations.

The game includes a full Career Mode that lets players begin in MX2 category, and aim to become MXGP World Champion. There’s also a range of customisation options, with more than 300 official officially licensed vehicle components from over 75 brands.

The Nintendo Switch is lacking for quality racing games at the moment, with only Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – and, potentially, Gear.Club – to choose from. Motocross racers aren’t the draw they used to be, but assuming this port is well done, MXGP 3 may well find itself jostling for position at the front of the pack.
