T-minus two weeks. Rocket League blasts onto Nintendo Switch in November.
It’s been a long-time coming, but Psyonix has finally confirmed that Rocket League will come to Nintendo Switch on November 14, 2017. The game will be available via the Nintendo eShop, and will be priced at $19.99 in the US.
To mark the release date announcement, Nintendo has published a new Nintendo Minute segment that takes a closer look at the Rocket League‘s Switch gameplay, and takes a tour of Psyonix’s studio in San Diego.
The Nintendo Switch version of Rocket League will be feature complete, and will support cross-platform multiplayer with the Xbox One, Windows 10, and Steam versions of the game.
It will also include unlockable customisation items, and four exclusive Nintendo-themed Battle-Cars.
Players on the Orange team can play as the ‘Mario NSR’ and ‘Samus’ Gunship,’ while Blue team players can take part using the ‘Luigi NSR’ and a Varia Suit Samus color variation.
The game is another welcome addition to the Switch library, let’s just hope that online implementation is up to par with the other versions of the game.
