A reminder that NBA 2K18’s free demo, The Prelude, will be released this Friday.
The Prelude will be available to download on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 from Friday, September 8, 2017, and gives players a chance to experience NBA 2K18’s brand new mode, The Neighborhood.
The Neighborhood is the franchise’s new shared world that brings together a variety of multiplayer modes, a jump shot game, social engagement with other users, special events, and a licensed Foot Locker store with over 2,000 pairs of shoes to buy.

Any progress made in The Prelude prior to NBA 2K18’s official launch on September 15, 2017 can be saved and carried over.
At the time of writing there is no word on a demo for the Nintendo Switch version of the game, which apart from a slight graphical downgrade and 30FPS gameplay, is feature complete.
