Codemasters have released a new trailer for the upcoming motor sport game, F1 2018, the official game of the 2018 FIA Formula One World Championship.
F1 2018 includes all of this year’s official world championship team, teams, drivers and circuits, as well as another crop of iconic cars from years gone by.
The new trailer – which is composed entirely from in-game footage – also features the new official F1 theme music, written by long-time game composer, Brian Tyler
In a press statement, Stu Campbell, art director for F1 2018, said:
“F1 has undergone a huge visual rebrand this year. It has an exciting, fresh new look and we are looking to bring that into the game as much as we can. Our aim this year was to create as big a visual improvement as we possibly could to give a more authentic and realistic experience. When you see it side by side with the 2017 game I think you will see a huge leap forward.”
Codemasters have also released another edition of the F1 2018 developer diary. In the latest episode, senior car handling designer, David Greco, talks about the game’s improved handling model.
F1 2018 will be released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC on Friday August 24, 2018.
