New Nintendo Switch eShop releases

A Nintendo 64 favourite returns to head this week’s lineup of new eShop releases for the Switch and 3DS.

If you didn’t play Turok on its original release, it’s hard to recommend the slightly updated remake that arrives on Nintendo Switch this week. However, if you have fond memories of shooting Tek Arrows into bionically enhanced raptors, or getting lost in foggy jungles, it could be worth the slightly expensive trip down memory lane.

Other releases of note include Unravel Two, the enjoyable co-op platformer from ColdWood Interactive, and Final Fantasy spin-off, Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon Every Buddy!.

We have a favour to ask

Thumbsticks has a couple of main aims. We want to write interesting articles and cover games that most outlets won't, and we want to give opportunities to new writers and new voices. And right now, with the current state of online publishing? It's tough! We hate to ask, but if you want us to continue writing what others won't, or to keep covering weird indie games, or to be able to give opportunities to new writers – and only if you can afford it – then please consider supporting us on Patreon.
