Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot and Diablo II: Resurrected are among this week’s new Nintendo Switch eShop releases.
Action RPG Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot makes its Nintendo Switch debut this week. The game wasn’t ecstatically received on other platforms back in January 2020, but it sold well and was a hit with fans. The Switch edition comes with the A New Power Awakens Set add-on that includes new transformations for Goku and Vegeta, level cap unlocks, and other goodies.
Diablo II: Resurrected is the week’s biggest release, we suppose. There are some reasons to look forward to the remaster. Unfortunately, there are many more reasons not to. We can’t recommend it, no matter how many names co-developer Vicarious Visions scrubs from the game.
Instead, why not direct your hard-earned pennies towards ambitious sci-fi RTS Spacebase Startopia or the fun multiplayer firefighting extravaganza, Embr.
Players of a certain vintage might want to consider Fighting Fantasy Legends, which adapts three novels from Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone (City of Thieves, The Warlock of Firetop Mountain, and Citadel of Chaos) into card-based RPGs.
