The return of Doom and MLB The Show headlines a packed week of new PlayStation 4 releases on the PS Store.

Doom Eternal is the latest game in id Software’s hellish first-person shooter series and follows on from 2016’s acclaimed franchise comeback. This time round Doomguy has access to a host of new weapons and abilities, all of which will no doubt be useful in battling hordes of brand new enemies. An updated port of Doom 64 – which is also sold separately – is one of the game’s pre-order bonuses. We’ll publish our review later today.

The week’s other battle is between two new baseball games. MLB: The Show 20 and R.B.I. Baseball 20 offer distinctly different takes on America’s Pastime. We’re hoping that MLB Advanced Media’s more arcade-oriented approach is an improvement on last year’s effort.

Other new releases include platform adventure La Mulana and its sequel, and motorcycle racing racer, TT Isle of Man – Ride on the Edge 2. We’ll also tip our hat to Kamiko, a charming top-down adventure game with Zelda vibes and a fantastic soundtrack.

Here is this week’s confirmed lineup of new PlayStation Store releases for the PS4, PS VR, and PS Vita.
