Torchlight II, Final Fantasy VIII, and NBA 2K20 are among next week’s new PlayStation Store releases for the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita.
A clutch of older games catch our eye in another packed week of new PlayStation 4 releases. First on that list is the console port of Torchlight II. Runic Games’ excellent dungeon crawler RPG was first released on PC in 2012, and comes to current-gen consoles via porting experts, Panic Button. The new edition includes a revamped targeting system, new in-game pets, and a console-friendly interface.
Other new old games coming to PS4 in the next week include Catherine: Full Body from Atlus, and Square Enix’s long-awaited remaster of Final Fantasy VIII. Elsewhere, the Monster Hunter World: Iceborne expansion adds a whole new region to Capcom’s popular action RPG, along with new master rank quests, monsters, and gameplay mechanics.
Other new PS4 releases include River City Rampage sequel, River City Girls, and Visual Concepts’ annual basketball jamboree, NBA 2K20. It’s also worth mentioning that Risk of Rain 2, was unexpectedly released on the PlayStation Store yesterday. Here’s the full lineup of next week’s new PS4 releases.
