Here’s the full lineup of new PlayStation 4 and PS Vita video games coming to the PlayStation Store from March 19, 2019.
If the phrase ‘third-person, action-adventure with RPG elements’ causes an instinctive groan of weariness, we quite understand. However, in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice it looks like we have a game to rise above such a hackneyed description.
Directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki, FromSoftware’s latest is as tough as you’d expect, but it’s also haunting and cinematic, with a stunning evocation of 16th century Japan that is among the studio’s best work.
Also released on PS4 is The Messenger, an imaginative reinvention of 8-bit and 16-bit platformers from the folks at Sabotage Studio.
And if you want to play something authentically retro, the SNK 40th Anniversary Collection finally comes to PS4 and features 24 classic games including the likes of Ikari Warriors, Time Soldiers, and Alpha Mission.
