Deathloop and Toem headline this week’s lineup of new PlayStation Store releases for the PS4 and PS5.

Deathloop, the eagerly anticipated time loop action game from Arkane Studios, is our pick of this week’s new PlayStation Store releases. The game’s initial trailers showcased its style, but more recent footage has demonstrated the studio’s talent for intriguing narratives and enjoyable gameplay mechanics. The early word is very positive.

Our second is highlight is Toem, a charming photography adventure from Sweden-based developer Something We Made. The studio describes it as a game that encourages players to “stop and smell the flowers”. Sounds perfect, frankly.

Other new PS4 and PS5 games include Flynn: Son of CrimsonAragami 2, and Dojoran.

Here’s the complete lineup of new PlayStation Store releases. We’ll update this page throughout the week with any late additions.

We hate to ask, but...

Thumbsticks has a couple of goals. We want to write interesting articles and cover games that most outlets won't, and we want to give opportunities to new writers and new voices. And right now, with the current state of online publishing? It's tough to meet those goals! We hate to ask, but if you want us to continue writing what others won't, or to keep covering weird indie games, or to be able to give opportunities to new writers – and only if you can afford it – then please consider supporting us on Patreon.
