Here is this week’s lineup of new video games for the PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
There are a few weeks to go until the first major video game releases of the year arrive in the shape of Fire Emblem Engage, Forspoken and EA’s Dead Space remake. In the meantime, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PlayStation players can choose from a glut of new indie titles.
Our pick of the week is Children of Silentown, a new macabre point-and-click adventure from Elf Games and Luna2 Studio. The game’s prologue received a positive response from players when it launched on Steam in late 2020. The full release follows the story of Lucy, a young girl growing up in a village of monsters. We hope the game’s narrative and puzzle elements are as impressive as its hand-drawn visuals.
Other new releases include Burrow of the Fallen Bear: A Gay Furry Visual Novel, Chasing Static, and a new-gen version of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot.
