Dark Light

Blair Witch, Control, and Man of Medan top the list of new games coming to the Xbox One digital store between August 26-30, 2019.

Remedy Entertainment return with Control, one of the 2019’s most anticipated games. Taking the role of Jesse Faden, players must pits their wits against a mysterious enemy known as The Hiss, and uncover the truth behind a secret government agency. Luckily, powers including telekinesis, levitation, and mind control are on hand to help.

Also released this week is the first in a new line of horror games from Supermassive. The Dark Pictures Anthology – Man of Medan follows a group of young American friends trapped within the bowels of a deadly ghost ship. We’re sure they’ll all behave sensibly and escape unharmed.

Xbox One players seeking more chills can also look forward to Blair Witch, which makes its debut on Xbox One as a timed console exclusive. Bloober Team’s psychological horror adventure promises scares steeped in the lore of the hit movie franchise.

Other new releases include Skipmore’s delightful Zelda-lite adventure, Kamiko, Inxile’s director’s cut of The Bard’s Tale IV, and Decay of Logos, an intriguing third-person action-RPG from Amplify Creations.

All of next week’s new releases can be purchased from the Xbox digital games store and the Microsoft online store. Here’s the full lineup.
