New Xbox One releases for October 7-11, 2019

Ghost Recon Breakpoint and Destiny 2: Shadowkeep headline the list of new video games coming to Xbox One between September 30-October 4, 2019.

New Xbox One releases

Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair and The Bradwell Conspiracy top the list of new video games coming to Xbox One between October 7-11, 2019.

Playtonic’s ode to the classic 2D platformers of the nineties is one of this week’s big Xbox One releases. Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair certainly looks the part, even if it doesn’t quite match the Donkey Kong Country series that inspired it.

Also coming to Xbox One this week is Frozenbyte’s Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince. Following the cool reception given to 2015’s Trine 3, the franchise returns to its 2.5D roots. From we’ve seen, the game is all the better for it.

Survival strategy simulation Frostpunk: Console Edition is another highlight, and we also have a good feeling about first-person narrative adventure, The Bradwell Conspiracy. Other new games include survival MMO Atlas and Finite Reflection’s co-op twin-stick shooter, TwinCop.

All of this week’s games can be purchased from the Xbox digital store and Microsoft online store. Read on for the full release lineup and then check out this week’s new PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch games.
