Destroy All Humans!, Nowhere Prophet, and Yakuza Kiwami 2 are among this week’s new Xbox One releases.

For the first time in a long time, there’s a bumper crop of new games to look forward to on Xbox One.

As previewed on last week’s Xbox Games Showcase, Grounded, the backyard survival game from Obsidian Entertainment, makes its Game Preview debut on Tuesday. It looks like a lot of fun, and if you prefer to play on PC, it’s also coming to Steam Early Access.

THQ Nordic continues to mine its IP catalogue with a remake of Destroy All Humans! In addition to the usual visual and performance upgrades, the game – which looks like a whole lot of fun – includes content cut from the original 2005 release.

We’re also pleased to see Nowhere Prophet make the jump to console. Sharkbomb Studios’ tactical turn-based card game is engaging, engrossing, and beautiful.

Finally, Kazuma Kiryu and friends come to Xbox One in Sega’s rich tale of crime and karaoke, Yakuza Kiwami 2. It’s also available as part of Xbox Game Pass.

Other new Xbox One releases include Skater XL, Maid of Sker, and The Touryst.

Each new game can be purchased from the Xbox One digital games store or the Microsoft online store.
