Aerial_Knight’s Never Yield and Sunless Skies headline next week’s lineup of new Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S releases.

Aerial_Knight’s Never Yield made an instant impression when it was revealed in last month’s Nintendo Indie World Showcase. The future Detroit 3D runner features crisp, stylish visuals and a stunning soundtrack. It’s a fluid game that is instantly appealing and short by design. Fortunately, it’s good enough to keep you coming back in the pursuit of high scores.

Darker pleasures can be found in Sunless Skies, the acclaimed gothic-horror RPG from Failbetter Games. It’s a must-play for fans of expansive world-building and dense, murky narratives.

Other new Xbox releases include childhood fairy tale adventure Wild at Heart and retro fighting game Jay and Silent Bob: Mall Brawl. Zoinks, yo!

Here’s the full lineup of confirmed new Xbox releases. We’ll update this list throughout the week with any late additions.

We have a favour to ask

Thumbsticks has a couple of main aims. We want to write interesting articles and cover games that most outlets won't, and we want to give opportunities to new writers and new voices. And right now, with the current state of online publishing? It's tough! We hate to ask, but if you want us to continue writing what others won't, or to keep covering weird indie games, or to be able to give opportunities to new writers – and only if you can afford it – then please consider supporting us on Patreon.
