Everything announced on the April 2021 Nintendo Indie World Showcase

Dark Light

The latest Nintendo Indie World Showcase revealed a host of new games coming to the Nintendo Switch in 2021 and 2022.

Today’s Nintendo Indie World Showcase took viewers through an impressive lineup of indie games bound for the Switch.

Highlights include OlliOlli World, the third game in Roll7’s sublime skateboarding series, and Art of Rally, the marvellous racing game from Funselektor Labs.

My personal pick was DigixArt’s procedural story-driven road-trip adventure, Road 96, which looks beautiful and narratively compelling in equal measure.

Three excellent games from the showcase also arrive on the Nintendo eShop today. FezThe Longing, and There Is No Game: Wrong Dimension are all worth your time.

The showcase concluded with the surprise reveal of Oxenfree II: Lost Signals from Night School Studio. Let’s hope the game is as imaginative and clever as the 2016 original.

Here’s the complete list of announcements.
