Nintendo Switch titles take six places in UK video games chart top ten as Animal Crossing: New Horizons returns to No.1.

Nintendo Switch exclusive Animal Crossing: New Horizons has taken the top spot in the latest GFK Entertainment Software chart, ending Ghost of Tsushima‘s three-week run. The return of New Horizons to No.1 caps an impressive week for the Nintendo Switch, which has six games in the top ten and a further eight titles in the top forty.

Elsewhere, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe races up to No.3, Paper Mario: The Origami King holds firm at No.7, Minecraft is at No.5, and there are re-entries for Ring Fit Adventure and 51 Worldwide Games.

Heavy discounting sees EA’s FIFA 20 leap 15 positions to No.4, and F1 2020 remains in the middle of the pack, slipping one place to No. 6.

Further down the chart, there is a new entry for Fast & Furious Crossroads a No.17. The remake of Destroy All Humans! – which debuted at No.3 last week – tumbles down the chart to No.18.

Here’s the full GfK top ten. Remember, the chart only tracks sales of boxed titles and does not include digital puchases.
