Yooka-Laylee leads this week’s lineup of Nintendo eShop releases for the Switch, 3DS and Wii U.
We may be heading into the holidays, but there’s no sign of things slowing down on the Nintendo eShop.
This week’s big game is the long-awaited Switch release of Yooka-Laylee. The shine has come off this 90s throwback somewhat, but Playtonic promise that the Switch edition is the most optimised version yet. Whether it addresses some of the more fundamental complaints from our PlayStation 4 review, remains to be seen.
The Switch also gets its first major pinball games in the shape of Pinball FX3, and Stern Pinball Arcade.
Pinball FX3 – which goes by the name of Zen Pinball on other platforms – includes DLC tables based on Portal, The Walking Dead, and other popular franchises. Stern Pinball Arcade is also free to download, and features a paid selection of classic retro tables based on the likes of AC/DC, Starship Troopers, Last Action Hero, and Ghostbusters.
Also released this week is the Mutant Mudds Collection from Atooi, and Ratalaika’s roguelike adventure, One More Dungeon.
