Payday 2 and Old Man’s Journey lead this week’s lineup of eShop releases for the Nintendo Switch, 3DS and Wii U.
The Nintendo Switch receives a slew of new games this week, the pick of which – assuming the port is up to scratch – is Payday 2, from Starbreeze Studios.
Also worth a look is Broken Rule’s mediative adventure game, Old Man’s Journey, and Nussoft’s curious piscine shooter, Ace of Seafood. And if you’re looking for a modern spin on an old classic, Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 Plus comes highly recommended.
The Nintendo 3DS also gets a new game this week, a surprise port of Image and Form’s fabulous digdugvania, SteamWorld Dig 2. The Switch remains the game’s optimum platform, but a silky smooth 60fps means the 3DS version is not without merit.
