Nintendo eShop Releases

Here’s the full roundup of this week’s eShop video game releases for the Nintendo Switch, and 3DS

There are plenty of new Switch games to choose from in another packed week of releases on the Nintendo eShop.

Pick of the week is Valkyria Chronicles 4, a stunning return to form for Sega’s cult tactical RPG series. The events of the game are contemporaneous with those of the very first Valkyria Chronicles, which is also coming to the Switch next month.

Also recommended is Matt Thorson’s Towerfall. The Switch edition supports up to four players, and includes the TowerFall Dark World and TowerFall Ascension expansions.

Arena of Valor, Tencent’s all-conquering MOBA, also hits the Switch this week. The game has been phenomenon in China, and it will be fascinating to see how it fares on Switch, and mobile in the West.

Other games worth a look include Armello, Wandersong, This is the Police 2, and FIFA 19.

As usual, this list is subject to change. Here is the current lineup of Nintendo eShop releases.
