Revisit three classic Legend of Zelda games with Nintendo’s new Game & Watch system.

It’s a packed week for reissues of classic video games. Skyrim is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a new edition, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic has hit the Switch and the Grand Theft Auto: Trilogy Definitive Edition is out now on all platforms.

All good stuff, but the games we are most excited about can be found on Nintendo’s new Game & Watch system.

Game & Watch: The Legend of Zelda is out now and includes the original NES classics The Legend of Zelda and Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, as well as the original Game Boy version of The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening. It also includes the Game & Watch title Vermin, now with Link in the starring role. And, of course, there’s a clock.

As with last year’s Super Mario Bros. release, the new system features a full-colour back-lit screen and a host of secrets to find. We won’t spoil them here, but there are videos available from Nintendo detailing some of the system’s best features.

As always, getting your hands on the system will be your toughest adventure. The system is available at selected retailers – Amazon, BestBuy etc. – as well as the MyNintendo store.
