Nintendo dominates the UK Top 10 in this week’s physical game chart, and a range of PlayStation 4 exclusives get a Days of Play boost.
EA’s FIFA 20 has returned to the top spot in this week’s UK’s software chart. It replaces Nintendo Switch exclusive, Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition, which tumbles to No.28 in its second week.
We doubt Nintendo will be too troubled, however. Following a significant restock – and a TV advertising campaign – Ring Fit Adventure has leapt back up the chart to No.2. Animal Crossing: New Horizons falls to No.3, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe reenters the Top Ten at No.7.
Debuting at No.6 is 51 Worldwide Games, which gives Nintendo a grand total of 54 games in the Top 10. Sort of.
The Switch release of The Outer Worlds also propels the game back into the chart at No.30, although you might want to read our review before picking that one up.
The ongoing PlayStation Days of Play promotion is also evident across the chart. Marvel’s Spider-Man is at No.10 and games including Days Gone, Horizon Zero Dawn, Uncharted 4, and God of War are among the many PS4 exclusives in the Top 40.
