The new Nintendo Switch Fortnite Special Edition bundle includes an exclusive dock, Joy-Cons, and in-game goodies.
If you miss playing Epic’s hit battle-royale on iOS, this new Nintendo Switch Fortnite Special Edition bundle might be the replacement you’re looking for.
The bundle launches in Europe on October 30, and includes a new dock adorned with Fortnite artwork and two exclusive yellow and blue Joy-Con controllers. The right Joy-Con includes a rather cute Battle Bus illustration.
Fortnite – which is free to download, of course – comes preinstalled. The bundle also includes a Wildcat Bundle download code that gives players access to the Wildcat Outfit and two additional styles, plus Sleek Strike Back Bling and two styles. Oh, and 2000 V-Bucks for good measure.
According to Nintendo, Fortnite is now the most downloaded game to launch on the Switch in Europe. In the short-term, it’s probably the best way to experience the game on a handheld device. Expect the bundle to do some brisk business in the run-up to the Christmas..
