Darksiders Genesis. Florence, and new DLC for Fire Emblem: Three Houses headline this week’s new eShop releases for the Nintendo Switch.
THQ Nordic’s reinvigoration of the Darksiders franchise continues this week with a new top-down hack-and-slash RPG from Airship Syndicate. Darksiders Genesis received acclaim on its PC and Stadia release last year, and we see no reason why the game won’t also shine on Switch.
Another title that found success first on another platform is Florence. We’re interested to see how Mountains’ tale of modern romance makes the switch to console as the game is so perfectly formatted to mobile. Assuming it makes the transition intact, this delicate and delightful experience should not be missed.
Other new releases include the sublime stained glass puzzler, Glass Masquerade 2: Illusions, choo-choo management sim, Railway Empire, and Level-5-s roguelike role-player, The Snack World.
Finally, one of last year’s best Nintendo Switch exclusives, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, gets a huge update – and a whole new house – in the Cindered Shadows paid content expansion.
