A classic Pokémon spin-off is our pick from this week’s lineup of new Nintendo Switch releases.
More than 30 games are released on Nintendo Switch this week. For hardcore Pokémon fans, the highlight is the latest addition to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack lineup.
Pokémon Puzzle League was first released for the N64 in 2000. It’s an old game, but age doesn’t dim its timeless Panel de Pon!-inspired gameplay. It’s a fantastic puzzler and a fun reminder of a simpler time for the Pokémon franchise.
Elsewhere, there’s the usual mix of shovelware and indies. Our picks include offbeat sandbox sim Time on Frog Island and HellPoint, the well-liked sci-fi action RPG from Cradle Games.
Other promising games include Mira: A Bird’s Flight, Spidersaurs, and Rayland. As ever, the Switch release lineup is liable to change. Check back throughout the week for any last-minute updates.
