Dark Light

Slay the Spire headlines this week’s lineup of new eShop releases for the Nintendo Switch and 3DS.

MegaCrit’s card-based roguelike Slay the Spire is the pick of this week’s new Nintendo eShop releases. Despite a famously slow start, the game has so far sold over 1.5 million copies on PC, Mac, and PlayStation 4. Its Switch release should see that number grow even more.

Our other recommendation is She and the Light Bearer, a beautiful experience from Mojiken Studio that is equal parts, poem, fairy tale, and adventure game.

Other new games to check out include Hue, the charming colour-based puzzle platformer from Fiddlesticks, and turn-based espionage thriller, Phantom Doctrine.

The Nintendo 3DS also gets one of its last major releases this week in the shape of dunegon-crawler spin-off, Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth.

Here’s the full lineup of new Nintendo eShop releases. We’ll add any additional titles as they are confirmed throughout the week.
