Mario Strikers: Battle League headlines this week’s list of new Nintendo Switch eShop releases.
Th game has impressed in its recent demo period, bringing back memories of the excellent Mario Strikers Charged for Nintendo Wii. The on-field action is colourful and chaotic but accessible, and the production values are top-notch. If the game’s online modes are up to the task this should be the perfect companion to Nintendo Switch Sports this summer.
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II – The Sith Lords is the latest in an impressive list of remasters from Aspyr Games. We’re playing the original KOTOR at the moment, and although the game shows its age, the Switch port is excellent. Obsidian’s 2004 sequel has fans and detractors, but we expect Aspyr to deliver the goods from a technical perspective once again.
Other new Nintendo Switch releases include Metal Max Xeno: Reborn and Mysteries Under Lake Ophelia. Pop back throughout the week for any last-minute updates.
